I won't continue to monopolize the listwaves with comments on the
topic noted above, though I would like to see responses from
correspondents to the latest round if they're of a mind. My purpose
in insisting that, contrary to Marx, exchange values ('valid' or
otherwise) do not "express something equal" is to establish ground
for a critique and possible reconstruction of Marx's analysis of capitalist
exploitation and accumulation, to be discussed at the appropriate
time. I suppose this ground has been laid whether or not
OPE-Listmates accept this argument. Also, as noted in a
separate post, I see I've already overlapped some points addressed
earlier by Steve Keen--again, apologies to Steve and others for not
having caught up with earlier posts before adding my own.
