I plan to offer a considered and low-rhetoric response to Andrew's latest
series of postings in a day or two, but in the meantime I can't resist this:

Symptomatic of Andrew's intepretive style! Gil's "own way" of conceding
the proposition in question was to argue himself blue in the face to the
contrary. (And though I don't agree with Gil on all matters, I'm with
him all the way on this one.)
