I, for one, have no wish to hasten Andrew's demise. I have compelled him
to do my interpretive bidding for long enough. In fact, I hereby close
down my corner of this particular debate. In doing so, let me just
reiterate my two main reasons for failing to accept his conclusive new
findings, and closing my eyes to the empirical evidence:
1. The implications are not to my taste (I prefer Pepsi).
2. I'm doing my bit for empty tradition.
