Earlier this month we had a lively discussion on this subject. As many on
the list are familiar with this area and as some (like Chai-on, Stavros,
and Maria) have not had an opportunity to participate yet, let me ask a
couple of questions to see if we can re-kindle this thread:
(1) Have others read Robert Guttmann's _How Credit-Money Shapes the
Economy: The United States in a Global System_ (Armonk, NY, M.E. Sharpe,
1994)? Would anyone care to offer a brief critical review and commentary?
(2) What are the areas related to this that you believe need to be developed
more theoretically? Any ideas for research projects in this area?
