Dear all

Many thanks to all who took part in the EEA mini-conference
which I thought was very encouraging and set a very high
standard of debate. I think OPE rendered a great assistance
through the discussion which took place on it and thanks
are definitely due for this.

An apology for a temporally-induced rudeness:

There are a couple of posts from a week or so back
which I haven't replied to, particularly one from Paul with some
numbers in :-) which I found useful and interesting and a
continuation of the discussion on money with Duncan, whose response
I also found thought-provoking. Please accept my apologies for
delaying a response to these, as I am still catching up after getting
back from the US, and I am away for a week starting this Sat.

I do want to make a couple of suggestions about the new lists (which
are very welcome), and I also want to suggest a possible but simple
line of enquiry regarding temporality. So I will contribute on these
things out of sequence. Sorry for this.

Alan
