Both are functional but neither are functioning since I am the only
subscriber to each and we have not decided yet what to do with them.
I noted previously that they could be used for two of the following
purposes:
* an expansion list;
* a seminar list;
* a utility list.
Other possibilities include:
* a non-English language list (if there are enough qualified people who
can only write in some other language, e.g. German, and who prefer
a separate list).
* a list on a more specific area of interest, e.g. internationalization
of capital.
* a more explicitly cross-paradigm list, e.g. a joint Post-Keynesian &
Marxist list.
* [fill in blank].
One constraint to remember is that both EM-L and CAP-L are set-up as
closed lists. We could, however, decide that the archives of one or more
will be made publicly available. That is my personal preference if we
decide to use one as a seminar list.
The main thing we need, though, is simply more discussion on preferences
for their use.
