that Marx's concept of labor-power is not necessarily a commodity. I agree
completely that the concept of labor-power for Marx is a commodity, in the
sense that it is bought and sold.

I agree too that labour power is bought and sold on generalised markets. But I
do not think that that one moment is adequate to the characterisation of the
commodity form - for Marx the most fundamental starting point of his
