I'm probably guilty of not making my views known at the
appropriate time, but I have no objection to people such as
Simon's student having access to the ope-l archive. By
"such as", I mean people who have been recommended by an ope
member, and who have a legitimate interest (rather than just
idle curiosity). I think, though, that a reasonable
restriction on such access would be: no citation, unless,
perhaps, the reader of the archive were to obtain permission
from the individual poster.
