Michio Akama, a member of the faculty in the Department of Comprehensive
Policy Making at Ehine University in Japan, has joined our list.

**Summary and Research Interests**

My research interests are in the history of economics, especially including
the formation of reproduction theory from Physiocracy and Smith to Marx,
the theory of reproduction scheme of Marx. I have published a book,
articles and notes in journals and edited volumes (see below). I am a
member of several societies: The Society for the History of Economic
Thought, Japan Society of Political Economy, The Agrarian History Society,
The Society for Education of Political Economy and Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft
der Marx-Engels-Forscher; Japan.
I am on the editorial member of Marx-Engels-Marxisism-Forschung (Journal
of Die Arbeitsbemeinschaft der Marx-Engels-Forscher), a chief editor of
CIEC (Council for Improvement of Education through Computers) and manage
SHET (the abbreviation of The Society for the History of Economic Thought,
Japan) mailing list with Prof. Yagi Kiichiro, Kyoto University.
