I thank Chai-on for his careful comments. I am beginnign to notice that our
views may not be as far apart as might have at first appeared. So I want to
take a little time to consider the subtle differences that may remain. In
the meantime I deal with a few more straight forward points:

I cannot have made myself clear - I never wanted to 'segragate' Pd & Ex.
Nor is it necessary to do so to argue, as I do, that, in the bourgeois
