Hi, Jerry.

Gee, less than six hours earlier, you stated that you "want to withdraw from
this particular discussion." Glad to have you back.

Jerry wrote:

"PS: The other day you [Kliman] referred to a 'mafia' of 'Marxist economists'
who
have suppressed TSS. If you [Kliman] want such a claim to be taken
'seriously',
then you [Kliman] should answer my previous post where I asked you [Kliman] to
name the members of the 'mafia' and explain your [Kliman's] characterization
of them as a 'mafia'."

Alejandro Ramos (post of Saturday, February 07, 1998 8:44 PM) is absolutely
right about this. The expression

"Many of us will also have been marginalised by the 'Marxist Economics' mafia"

was first used by MICHAEL WILLIAMS, in his post of (Monday, February 02, 1998
5:13 AM).

It is HIS characterization. I was QUOTING him. Direct your questions to
Michael, ok? Tell HIM that he should answer you if we wants the claim to be
taken "seriously."

Do so and we'll have clear evidence that you are impartial.

Jerry also writes: "The determination of what has been a serious vs. a
frivolous discussion is inherently a subjective determination."

Perhaps, but I think your participation would be considered more serious were
you to read my posts carefully enough so that you don't misattribute phrases
to me that I am just quoting. (BTW, this is not the first time that someone
on the list has done so.)
