The journal Rethinking MARXISM presents

A Five College Spring Conference at UMass-Amherst

April 3-4, 1998

The (RE)TURNS of MARXISM

This conference will highlight innovative directions in economic and social
analysis and philosophy. A major event will be the conference plenary
session, Friday, April 3rd, 7 - 9 PM: "The (Re)Turns of Marxism," in
Herter Hall, Room 227.

The plenary will be chaired by Stephen Cullenberg, Department of Economics,
University of California, Riverside. Antonio Callari, Department of
Economics, Franklin and Marshall College and Anwar Shaikh, Department of
Economics, New School for Social Research will give the plenary
presentations.

Conference sessions run from Friday, 1 PM through Saturday 5:45 PM. A
celebration will follow Saturday evening in the Campus Center, 10th floor.
All conference sessions are free and open to the public.
