[OPE-L:6562] [OPE-L:27] notes

There has been -- at long last -- an upgrade of Listproc, i.e. the
software used by the server at CSU. This means that our old post ID system
(e.g. [OPE-L:5427]) has returned, but a new series of #s has begun. This
is very good news indeed!

Now that the post ID system has returned, please try to use it. E.g. if
you want to reply to Patrick's post from yesterday, you could write
"Patrick wrote in [OPE-L:26]:".

With the upgrade, I had to re-configure the settings so that all messages
are "Reply-To-List" (rather than "Reply-To-Sender"). Even so, it is a
wise precaution for you to save a copy of all messages that you send out
and keep the copies until you see that the messages have been posted.

In solidarity, Jerry
