===========================
OVERALL, December was a *seasonally slow* month. Predictably, list volume
and participation was affected by both the "Rethinking Marxism"
conference held in Amherst in early December which many list members
attended and the beginning of the holiday season near the end of the
month. Vacations and attendance at conferences will probably mean that
volume and participation will continue to be slow in the early part of
January.
*HAPPY NEW YEAR!*
In solidarity, Jerry
