(3h) A study of the representation of universal themes in Spanish poetry from

Works. (3h) A study of the cinematic and literary discourses through
major Spanish literary works from different historical periods and their film

An Artistic Exploration. (3h) A study of the relationship of these
three Spanish artists though their writings, paintings, and films, respectively,
and of their
impact on the twentieth century. P-SPA 217 or 218 or permission of instructor.
Spanish 372. Lorca in the Twentieth
Century. (3h) A study of the life and works of poet, playwright,
painter, and lecturer Federico García Lorca, within the social, cultural,
literary, and artistic realities of the twentieth century, including Modernism
and Surrealism. Special
emphasis is placed on Lorca's treatment of minority cultures, including the
