Hello, my name is Michael Hoover and I am a secondary social studies teacher. I currently live in Winston-Salem, NC where I am earning my masters degree in education at Wake Forest University. The purpose of this website is to demonstrate my expertise as a secondary social studies teacher. Throughout my time at Wake Forest, I will be putting assignments on different pages which will demonstrate my capabilities as a social studies teacher. Unlike most professions, teachers have a unique opportunity to shape young minds and create lifelong learners. This website is designed to show my professional capability in each area as outlined by the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards.
