You can edit component values by double clicking on the value labeling the circuit. You can use the following prefixes:
Prefix | Meaning |
---|---|
p | pico, 10-12 |
n | nano, 10-9 |
u | &mu, micro, 10-6 |
m | milli, 10-3 |
k | kilo, 103 |
Meg | mega, 106 |
Do NOT leave a space between the numerical value and the prefix: 1u or 1.0u, not 1 u or 1.0 u.
AC analysis gives us the plot of Vout vs. frequency. Most times we prefer a logarithmic frequency scale, so we need logarithmically spaced frequency values. In Simulation > Analyses Setup, click on AC Analysis and choose three to five points per octave. This will give us points that are equally spaced on a log frequency scale, three to five points in each factor of two in frequency.
To get a log display, click on the pink sine wave button in the corner of the AC Analysis window during simulation, and choose Log under X grid.
