1. Wind a coil and put a current through it. This makes an electromagnet that can deflect a compass or pick up a car.

2. Shake a magnet near a coil and watch the induced voltage appear in the coil.

3. Put a high frequency ac current through a coil and use a radio to detect the resulting electromagnetic wave.
