1. Consider a system of N (non-interacting) electrons confined to two dimensions in the presence of a magnetic field. In class, we worked out the energy, magnetization, and susceptibility as a function of the ratio g/N, neglecting the effects of spin. Show how the results will change when we include spin effects.
