Model I25 (also label DDD11X in some reviews and websites. The gallery picture showing the black model's built in USB port also marked 3D emotion)

Works as advertised. Capture side by side 3D(and 2D w/ right camera only 5 Megapixel CMOS (2592×1944); 1/3.2") 720p mp4 (AVC H.264 30fps (no 29.97?) reviewers said it would drop to 15 fps (not sure just in the software playback or in the recorded file), supposedly fixed using new European firmware 1606 20100916? not sure how you can check current firmware version ftp://ftp.aiptek.de/FTP_HMP/i2_fwupdate.zip from http://www.aiptek.eu/index.php?option=com_product&task=view&productid=236&Itemid=587) video (and JPG still).
ArcSoft TotalMedia HDCam for 3D software on camera can convert to Red/Cyan (not Red/Blue) MP4. Has option to show using NVIDIA 3D also.
The 2.4" 480x240 (half in 3D) parallax barrier LCD is pretty cool (consider the camera is only $199 MSRP, $183 street). It is like the one in Sharp's Actius RD3D laptop (whose TriDef software is kind of limiting, not much support).
Supposedly work with active shutter and polarizer with 3D TV using HDMI also.
$189 8 inch 800x600 16GB 3D digital frame APF21X in pre-order, also, 3D picoprojector and 3D webcam supposedly coming out in 2010 and 2011.
come with carrying bag (nice pouch), strap, plastic frame (not paper) red/cyan glass, USB extension cable, mini-HDMI cable. (no SD card)
Same NP60 3.7V (1200 mAh 4.44 Wh CBright CB-PB. the spare i got is only 1000mAh from USANCE though) battery as Action-HD 1080P Z5X5P (1000 mAh Edan)
The manual is missing explanation for some settings for menu - what startup movie, preview icon, night shot mode (automatic) internal memory (128MB for emanual/software, but not for storage? why icon then?), 4x digital zoom (what's the mm?) do.
Its webpage keep talking about Removable Hard Disk, which means SD card, which is kind of strange.
Its spec also said you need CD-ROM drive, for ??? The software/PDF comes with the internal storage when you plug into USB.
some people said there is a purple tint also. here're daylight x-rite ColorChecker Color Rendition Chart shots on 2D and 3D (2592x1944 JPG resize to 640 PNG)
http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20006613-1.html (one commenter said ordering direct can get you 50 4?x6? photo papers, two extra glasses, a free camera case, free Ulead software, and an up graded case for $3.00)

no need to set 3D tag.
If it fails, like tags it doesn't like, it just give you not very useful error message.
