Activating Korean IME on WFU's 2007-2008 Lenovo ThinkPad T60p

All the necessary Korean language files for Microsoft Windows XP should have been installed on the T60p (probably exactly the same as in R60 and 2006-2007's T60, haven't tested those yet) already.

You only need to activate the input method editor

1. Go to "Control Panel" and select "Regional and Language Options" applet, select the "languages" tab

2. click on the "Details" button

3.click the "add" button in the "settings" tab, and choose Korean as Input Language

4. add additional input

After adding Korean IME 2002, you can add handwriting recognition and more text services options.

5. your text services input should look something like this

6. you can also change the IME's property

in this example, Korean is added to language bar with English, Chinese (PRC [allow both traditional and simplified forms]), and Japanese already.

7. Korean would be added to your language bar (you have to turn it on)

in this example, Korean is added to language bar with English, Chinese (PRC [allow both traditional and simplified forms]), and Japanese already.

8. Language bar functions

We have seen issue with Japanese IME icons not enable after joining X60 tablet to domain and linking up user profile. You may have to use the drop down arrow to turn icons on/off.

you can toggle Hangul/English with right Alt key

Hanja conversion key is right Ctrl key.
