Week 1 Day 1: Overview of Programming for Games and Getting to Know Flash

Thing to turn in:

  • 6 Flash files
  • extra effort: one or more extra files

General Criteria:

  • correct order of layers (in some cases, the layer order does not matter)
  • give a name to each layer to indicate what that layer is about
  • playback of animation: all animation play correctly
  • correct use of symbols and shapes in animation
  • apply correct type of tweening
  • efficiency: no unnecessary symbols, shapes, and layers

How the completed files may look like:
