Deductive Logic
Deductive logic reasons from the general to the particular. The principle form of deductive argument is the syllogism. When a deductive chain of reasoning is correct in terms of the veracity of the premises and the categorical relationships drawn from the premises to the conclusion, it is theoretically irrefutable.
