Known bug (for years) - Chrome prints PDF scan from Xerox WorkCenter All-In-One (and potentially other PDF) with black boxes
Workaround - save PDF to local storage and open with other PDF viewer to print.
If you do this a lot, it is easier just disable the Chrome builtin viewer plugin. type chrome://plugsin in the address bar, and click disable under "Crhome PDF Viewer"
