Try 'Darwinism' by Terrell Carver in 'A Dictionary of Marxist Thought' ed. by
Tom Bottomore. Carver says that Marx sent Darwin an inscribed copy of
Capital, but he did the same for others and there is no reason to believe
Marx intended to dedicate the book to Darwin. This entry includes an
interesting analysis of the relationship b/w Marxism and Darwinism.
