In [OPE-L:2594] Chris wrote (re Marx's 2/22/58 letter to Lassalle):

I was using the translation in Saul K. Padover _The Letters of Karl Marx_
(Englewood Cliffs, NJ, Prentice-Hall Inc., 1979), p. 423. I used that
edition for convenience since it has an entire section entitled "Letters
to and about Ferdinand Lassalle (1849-1868)".

In any event, the letter doesn't seem to be quite the "key reference" on
Marx's understanding of critique that you suggested in [OPE-L:2579].

In solidarity, Jerry
