My reaction: Why, "incoherent" ? Granted the idea is
absurd but it does follow from the concept of production for
profit or M-C-M'. Any consumption by any individual slows
the accumulation process. How and why the bubble must burst
is not immediately obvious.

My comment: Why not initially build between A and B so that a
larger and faster one can be built between A and B and so on?
In capitalism, productive consumption is the rule, not the
exception.
