A Conference on the Social History of Science, Technology and
Industrialization in Honor of J.D. Bernal (1901-1971) On the Centenary of
His Birth will be held in Zaragoza, Spain from September 19-22, 2001.

The Conference organizers welcome papers in four thematic areas:

1. Science, Technology and Society
2. The Life and Work of J.D. Bernal
3. The Marxists of the 1930s and Their Influence on Critical Thought
4. The Organization of Scientific Workers (as in the Scientific Worker's
Association, Science for the People, etc.)

Papers may be presented in English, French or any of Spain's official
languages.
