I found Ajit Sinha's [5564] in response to Jerry rather rude. Of course Ajit may well put forward as his opinion that there are two and only two readings of "Capital" possible -- thus also preclude that there might be any more to learn from "Capital" (what I have always liked about Marx is that he developed ideas anew and further throughout his life -- but that is just a BTW, no argument). However, more serious is that scientific argument requires adequate positioning of arguments, including the labels of identifying them (even if you dont like the other positions). Jerry is quite right to point this out -- and I am very glad that he adopts in this respect the role of list moderator. If we dont respect such absolute minimum requirements it is better to stop discussing. (I will come back to issues of content in my next mail.) Geert Reuten ˙WPC
