Perhaps Musharraf is just saying to the Pakistani military that if it does not accede to US demands, India will be able to convince the US to declare Pakistan a terrorist state and thereby be justified in cooperating with the US in taking out Pakistan's nuclear capability. It would seem that the US is putting in place the capability to try something of this magnitude. So the question becomes what happens if there is indeed a mutiny in the Pakistani military that brings theocratic fascist types into power who will not cooperate with the US in any way? How possible is this? Does anyone know? It is hard to find thoughtful analysis anywhere. Rakesh
