If the term "Geldvergessenheit" (oblivion to money) is to be anything
more than a flippant play on Heidegger's "Seinsvergessenheit" (oblivion
to being), then the question concerning the being of money has to be
posed. But that is not possible within Marxism (the question cannot even
be understood within Marxism). Nor within a social science of economics.
The horizon of the problematic has to be widened and the questioning
deepened (until it goes backwards into the abyss).
