    Sorry for the delay. It was not because I do not consider your question
important, just I've been terribly busy the last few weeks.

    I'm not really going to answer the question now either, apart from
making the general point that the issue here is not just "the Bolivarian
revolution" in general, but the interplay between the state and the process
of popular revolt in Venezuela. What is the effect of the fact that the
revolt is being channelled into these organisational forms? This is
something I simply don't know enough about.

    I've been invited to go and discuss my book with militants of the
Bolivarian revolution and others in a week-long seminar later this year,
which is very exciting. Obviously I'll learn a lot in the process and shall
try to read a lot before I go too. Perhaps then I'll be able to give a
fuller answer to your question.
