The idea of the workers' state or the 'dictatorship of the proletariat' was
that it was a state within capitalism that was used by the proletariat to
uproot/destroy capitalist relations of production and thus the basis for
classes (including a proletariat as such). You can call it whatever you
want (and 'the dictatorship of the proletariat' is a political non-starter
after its misuse), but the class content/objective should be clear.
