Hi Howard, here's the link but it's an old criticism. Marks is up to date. I remember reading about Deborah Gordon's work on ants. Some controversy on whether it's an implicit critique of EO Wilson's sociobiology. Shows ant castes don't exist, queen doesn't have control; and she explores self-organization. Perhaps implicit is the point that once certain sociobiological prejudices are shed, ant colonies appear in a new light and allow us to expand our knowledge of self organizing systems.
