That's fair enough, but just this small point - you said: As John Holloway said, the right is beating up on us bad enough; we shouldn't be fighting each other. It may be true that socialist ideology has taking a battering, but in reality I think - if surveys are to be believed - an increasing fraction of the world population is actually moving to the Left in terms of their personal values. They might not call themselves socialist, but in terms of their values they are, or close to it. In that sense, "we" haven't been beat up at all - the only sense in which this might be true, is that many people believe there is no alternative to private enterprise capitalism as organisational form, or that they cannot see any.
