Please elaborate what you mean. The class relation "embedded" in either formula is the amount of surplus labour. That is quite explicit.

Hi Dave:

Insofar as the numerator is concerned, surplus _value_ rather than
the more general and trans-historical category of surplus-labour is specified: surplus labour is performed in all class societies.

s/K is a formula, depending on how you define K (and s), which could apply in non-capitalist societies; s/c+v is a formula specific to capitalism insofar as the class relation between capitalists and wage-workers is embedded in the equation.
