Jahrestages behauptet hat. Es ist eine materielle Kraft, die in den Produktionsverhältnissen begründet ist. My main thesis in my paper was that Marx and Engels could develop a scientific theory of socialism because they relied on proletariat. Hobsbawm believes that the concept of proletariat in Marx's and Engels' work is more or less a construction rather than a concept gained from the analysis of capitalist production.
