> Columbia appears the weak link Hi Paul C: Yes, that does seem to be the case. The current administration in Columbia has been doing the bidding of US imperialism in Latin America. It is very possible, though, that a 'left' government more in keeping with some of the governments of the other UNASUR member administrations will come to power. It's also possible that by being in UNASUR, pressure can be brought against Columbia by other member nations should they attempt further belligerence.
