Re: [OPE] Absolutely Divine Everyday, Why social justice specious idea V.3.0

I am a descendant of Russian immigrants to Latin America and I was born in Venezuela. Nevertheless I mainly follow “Market Socialist”, neither “Marktsozialisten” nor “Socialistas de Mercado” (There are few).

The question is that more and more Science ends to be a question of culture embedded theories.

To say that “German intellectuals still suffer from defeat of World War II” as Göçmen did, is not proper. Besides being an “essentialist” judgement there are examples that contradict this, like Jürgen Habermas and Otfried Höffe.
Not to mention the leftist German participants in this mailing list that could be offended.

Whilst as you say, it is not primarily a nationalist question, certain
elements of
national culture do enter into this.

I am a scientist not a philosopher, but the impression I get from what
modern
philosophy that I do read, is that the style of arguments in Michael's
documents
is striking different from that in modern English or even French philosophy
texts.

This impression may, of course be because I have tended to read
philosophers of science
rather than those interested in theology. Since you have studied
philosophy both
in Britain and in Germany you would be better placed to comment on this
than me.
