Zachariah, the article you mentioned. Is it only in Swedish?   Regards,A. There are only a handful of people on the Left who actually know what the transformation problem is about. To bring in a discussion on TSSI etc. will only obscure the relevant content of the labour theory of value. I have already published an article in Clarté that popularises Farjoun and Machover's framework. It contains an implicit critique of TSSI and all other "production price" approaches. So it is a matter of spreading the article among interested leftists in Sweden rather than writing a new one. //Dave Z on 2008-09-21 14:15 Paul Cockshott wrote: > I got the email below from the editor of the Swedish Journal > Clarte, is there anyone on the list who could take up > his request for a review article comparing the TSSI and > probabalistic interpretations of value theory? > > ---------------------------------------------------------- > From: anders axelsson [mailto:axelssonanders@telia.com] > Sent: Sat 9/20/2008 10:59 AM > To: Paul Cockshott > Subject: TSSI >  > Hi Paul, > > I was listening to Alan Freeman who was talking about the importens of > Marx today, in thursday on European Social Forum in Malmo, Sweden. > When he was talking about Marx and the theory of labour value I think he > was mentioned  you and  Cottrell  three or four times and that it was > problem with the probabalistic angel.  The whole thing was a bit > strange  because he never  discused  the difference in any  detalies, he > mere mentioned it.
