If the Fed raised the required reserve ratio at the present moment - because
it would increase the liquidity problem and credit crunch - it would
exacerbate the crash.
 
Given the way in which Wall Street is manipulating the political scene,
(part of) what socialists should be talking about, imo, is developing
effective counter-policies to deal with a capital strike.
