But in either case it narrows the gap in terms of practical politics
between advocates of 'market socialism' and CPE. Moreover, I think the
former would agree that even in an economy dominated by workers'
cooperatives that there has to be a significant degree of public
ownership, at least in infrastructure, and state intervention through
Keynesian policies and strategic macroeconomic planning.
