From the arrival of Cristobal Colon to America (discounting the systematic domination of native people), to the invention of Linux within an incentive framework that departs bravely and radically from market economy (this doesn’t say anything about its feasibility in a larger scale), taking risks brings good things about.

Hi Alejandro:
Gambling (risk-taking) is inherent in the commodity-form. The most that
one can do is to take actions which are believed ex ante to reduce the
risk. If you want to "overcome gambling conduct", you have to overcome
the market.
