Paula,
as you seem to be interested in the theory of crisis, can I suggest you read this....
good solid analysis, the first modern detailed consideration of the role of fictitious capital in a crisis that I can remember - 1974 - in the context of that crisis, from
http://www.rcgfrfi.easynet.co.uk/marxism/articles/rc3-4_inflation.html
best regards

Subject: [OPE] Marxist theory of crisis
Just came across a website on Marxist economics set up this July by IMT supporters (http://www.marxisteconomics.com/index.php?id=69). It features part 1 of an article on 'The Marxist Theory of Crisis' (http://www.marxisteconomics.com/index.php?id=42&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=8&tx_ttnews[backPid]=222&cHash=f61e527eb8).
Making this theory accessible to the wider public is great. But what do we think about the content? I would be interested in any comments and criticisms, especially if kept brief and to the point.
Many thanks,
Paula
