Well, 'socialism' is another one of those fuzzy words. Often it simply means state capitalism, and this is apparently Harvey's solution - seeing that he wants the West to copy what he thinks China will probably do, ie to build a stronger national market. In conditions of severe global economic crisis this approach will likely lead to protectionism, intensified rivalries and war. Not at all the 'inclusive international financial architecture' he's dreaming of, I fear.
