Try to have an informed and critical position which takes into account _class_ and
_history_, Alejandro. The actual complexities of struggles in Venezuela and elsewhere
can not be grasped by simple reference to the principles of _bourgeois_ democracy;
real struggles for socialism are going to require something more than idealism and
a call for pacifism by academics.
