Well, even if the conceptual 'category' of economic value for some
reason would disappear the social costs of production in terms of labour
would *not*. And the mechanism of economic computation in socialist
economy will have to take this into account one way or another.

Simply wishing this social cost away could be detrimental when trying to
implement real economic policies and not abstract critiques of capitalism.
