Hi Dave Z:
It's always possible to explain a subject more easily if you *over-simplify*
it. Note, for instance, the perspective embodied in the DeLeon quote that all
wage-workers are productive of surplus value. This waves away with a magic wand
the category of unproductive labor or, expressing the same thing in another way,
asserts that all wage labor is productive labor.
