Marx and Engels did say that free competition existed, and you would know
this if in your professorial capacity you actually did some real research
into the matter. However Marx and Engels were very aware that completely
unrestricted competition rarely existed, as bourgeois society recoiled from
its ruinous effects.

I can find at least 144 references to free competition in the writings of
Marx and Engels, and the they do not support the doctrines of the New
Marxist Exploiting Class, unless the quotes are selectively quoted out of
context.

It is characteristic of the new Marxist Exploiting Class that it - just like
Proudhon - cannot theorize the relationships between competition and
cooperation, and therefore, its "socialism" consists only of moral slogans
with which to dupe the masses.
