I don't agree with Paul Z., and agree with Lee. If we are going to
'read 'Capital'' (instead of discuss specific issues), I see no
good reason to start anywhere except where Marx started. There are
reasons for chapter 1 being what it is, and for it being where it
is (even if we disagree about what they are - but this should be
discussed). If this is makes a 'difficult beginning' (cf. preface),
so be it.
